Lena Dunham has confirmed that she officially tied the knot with her now husband, Luis Felber.
The Girls actress, 35, took to Instagram to share the very first snap of herself as a bride from her secret wedding ceremony in London last weekend.
The intimate snap, saw Lena sport a gorgeous lace wedding dress as she posed alongside her new husband.
Alongside the snap, which is a part of a Vogue shoot on the couple’s wedding, Lena penned: "9*25*21 - and that's when she became the nanny”.
The lovebirds said their vows at Soho's Union Club after less than a year of dating.
According to the publication, the actress and author rocked three different wedding dresses on her big day and her famous pal Taylor Swift carried out bridesmaid duties.
The 31-year-old pop sensation has been a close friend to the Girls actress for a number of years now, and in true Taylor spirit, she made the journey to London to celebrate her friend’s secret wedding to Luis.
Taylor made a heartfelt speech at the stunning ceremony – much to the delight of the stunned guests.
An attendee told the publication that Lena looked over the moon that her superstar took the time to join the ceremony in Soho amid her incredibly busy work schedule.
The insider shared: “Taylor showed up for Lena and gave a really sweet speech celebrating them as a couple and congratulating them.
“Lena looked so happy that she was there. Obviously Taylor has a crazy schedule and it’s not normal for her to just nip down to Soho, so she was thrilled she took the time out to come.”
Lena’s guest added that the wedding was a small affair because the star and her new hubby wanted to keep things low-key and as secret as possible – especially due to the fact Taylor was there.
“There weren’t too many people there because the couple wanted to keep the wedding quiet, particularly because Taylor was there. Security was tight,” they added.
It comes after Lena confirmed her relationship on Instagram a couple of months ago.
She revealed that she had made the permanent move to London to be closer to her man.
