Edinburgh is to be lit up once again this weekend as Leith's 'Light-Up History Mural' makes its return for ten nights.
Opening on Saturday (September 26), the free unique projection will illuminate the Leith History Mural on North Junction St alongside an animation and bespoke soundscape.
Featuring a stunning array of colours and shapes, the mural will light up some of the city's first Autumn nights of this year.
The event, run by LeithLate, will be part of a series of outdoor activities taking place over the coming days, allowing families and locals to enjoy the area whilst still being safe and socially distanced.
To coincide with the return of Light-Up Leith History Mural, Cameron Foster - the originator of the wildly popular Leith Mural Tours- will be conducting what may be his final ever in-person tours of Leith’s fascinating murals.
These will run in the afternoon of Sunday 27 September and Sunday 4 October and are priced on a pay-what-you-can scale of £0-£4.
On October 4, LeithLate will also host a special closing event called 'Into the Future with Food' in collaboration with The Pitt street food market.
