Confused Leith locals witnessed a late night rammy between three individuals last night, with a crutch utilised as weapon in the bizarre late-night punch up.
In video footage sent to Edinburgh Live, a man and a woman are seeing pursuing a young man wearing a white cap on the corner of Crown Place and Leith Walk - the small side street which leads to Tesco's carpark from the main street.
The couple repeatedly chase the young man who evades capture by jumping over a small wall outside the Spey Lounge, shouting "I saved your life last week" at his attackers.
However, while apparently goading the pair in undecipherable audio captured on the footage, he is repeatedly hit by the woman yielding a crutch as as a weapon as the fight rolls out into traffic on Leith Walk.
The man shouts 'Let him go' as the woman rushes the white cap-wearing young man, screaming 'Watch your back mate watch your back'.
The footage, filmed by someone standing outside the Spey Lounge pub, shows the trio then becoming continually aggressive with one another before a punch up breaks out.

An onlooker asks 'Where are the polis tonight?' as the young man is filmed hitting the woman.
Her male accomplice shouts 'Wait 'til Harry and Frank get their hands on you' as the footage ends with the young man running away from the scene.
Edinburgh Live have contacted Police Scotland for comment.
