An Edinburgh theatre company is bringing musical theatre classics to the masses, promising fans fortnightly performances from musicians.
The company's online debut of The Proclaimers classic Sunshine on Leith, performed by Hazel Beattie, has reached some 15,000 people.
Announcing the fortnightly #CaptivateClassics, the company said it would be performing songs close to its heart as well as taking requests from fans.
Run by musical director and Leith lad Tommie Travers, the theatre said online "If you can't come to us, we'll come to you".
In her Sunshine on Leith performance, singer Hazel asked viewers to take a moment to pause to think about NHS heroes battling coronavirus.
The theatre company has posted three performances so far, including a cover of Mamma Mia's Winner Takes It All.
Speaking when the Edinburgh Festival Fringe was cancelled because of Covid-19, the theatre said on Facebook : "News regarding the Fringe came as no surprise to us here at Captivate Theatre, but that didn't make it any less upsetting.
"We were looking forward to our 9th consecutive #EdFringe programme being filled with brand new shows along with some old favourites.
"However, we appreciate that the decision made was the right one, as our priority is always the health and safety of our performers, production team, and audiences.
