Leistner, Rangel, Bidwell - Latest QPR team news and expected lineup to face Nottingham Forest

Queens Park Rangers have been handed an injury boost with the news that Toni Leistner could be available.

The Hoops skipper has been suffering with illness but could return to the side to face Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

John Eustace's side are expected to be without Jake Bidwell, Angel Rangel, Grant Hall and Jordan Cousins, while Joel Lynch is doubtful with a hamstring injury.

Coping with such injuries mean that QPR will once again be fielding a patched up starting XI, and Eustace says that he wants his team to thank the fans for their support during a difficult season.

He said: "We know it’s going to be an extremely tough game.

“Martin O’Neill is a very experienced manager, a very good manager and I am sure he will have his team ready.

“For us, the players want to finish with a good performance as a thank you to the fans for all their loyal support this season.”

Predicted QPR team to face Nottingham Forest: Joe Lumley, Pawel Wszolek, Darnell Furlong, Toni Leistner, Ryan Manning, Luke Freeman, Massimo Luongo, Josh Scowen, Geoff Cameron, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Nahki Wells.
