Peter Gulacsi, 3: At this level, his mistake – giving the ball away in the build-up to PSG’s second goal – was unforgivable.
Lukas Klostermann, 7: Had a good game at right centre-back, all things considered, and showed impressive pace to shut doen Kylian Mbappe on several occassions.
Dayot Upamecano, 7: Impressive once more in defence despite conceding three goals, and will surely have the European giants – perhaps even PSG – circling this summer.
Nordi Mukiele, 4: At fault for PSG’s third goal, falling over and falling to get back up in time, playing Juan Bernat onside for an easy header.
Konrad Laimer, 6: Some feisty tackles and strong battling by the midfielder in what was a tough assignment.
Marcel Sabitzer, 5: A talented player who wasn’t able to show his qualities on a difficult night. His unusual lack of pressing was surely a result of team tactics rather than his own misjudgement.
Kevin Kampl, 4: Struggled to make much impact on the game.
Angelino, 6: A decent performance at full-back and always offered something overlapping down the left side.
Christopher Nkunku, 5: The 22-year-old had little opportunity to impress.
Dani Olmo, 6: Looked like Leipzig’s most dangerous player with failed to have the impact that he did in the quarter-final.
Yussuf Poulsen, 4: Barely had any impact on the match in a tough assignment leading the line.

Sergio Rico, 6: Very little to do on a composed night for PSG’s defence.
Thilo Kehrer, 7: Composed at the back and helped keep Poulsen quiet.
Thiago Silva, 7: Typically dominant by the captain both in the air and on the floor.
Presnel Kimpembe, 8: An excellent performance by the defender who seemed utterly imperious at the back.
Juan Bernat, 8: Got forward and scored to add to his already brilliant Champions League goalscoring record.
Leandro Paredes, 7: Quietly kept things ticking in midfield and pressed well.
Marquinhos, 8: Leapt highest to glance home a well-aimed opening goal.
Ander Herrera, 6: A quiet but assured display in midfield.
Angel Di Maria, 9: Outstanding, scoring once and assisting twice with supreme delivery from the left.
Kylian Mbappe, 6: A few flashes of brilliance but way off his usual best.
Neymar, 8: A magical touch to help set up PSG’s second goal, and only his finishing was lacking.
