Leinster senior coach Stuart Lancaster: "There's no doubt in my mind that if you start thinking too far ahead about finals or quarter-finals or semi-finals in Europe, then you're going to come unstuck against a team that's highly-motivated, extremely well-coached, full of high-quality players who haven't got a European competition to worry about.

"This is their season, it's our season.

"You don't want to put all the work into a PRO14 season and then come unstuck in a semi-final by not preparing properly and giving it the credit it deserves.

"People have worked too hard for that so there's absolutely no doubt. If feels like a big week this week and I can guarantee you no one is thinking about next week."

Munster's Damian De Allende: "Friday night is going to be a very tough encounter but hopefully we will pitch up. It's a short encounter (a five-day turnover since beating Connacht) but we know it's just a mental thing.

"We haven't played a lot of rugby over the last six months so there are going to be sore bodies, I think still on Thursday night.

"But if we get the right mindset and we pitch up on Friday night knowing we've got one opportunity and forgetting about everything in the past and not worrying about the final, just staying in the moment for 80 minutes and hopefully we can walk off with big smiles on our faces on Friday night."

Betting odds

Leinster win: 3/10

Munster win: 11/4

Draw: 17/1
