Leinster football semi-final draw made with Dublin to face Meath

Dublin have been drawn to face Meath and Kildare will play Westmeath in the Leinster SFC semi-finals on Sunday, July 17.

The draw was made today after the All-Ireland champions booked their place in the next round with a 0-15 to 0-7 win away to Wexford.

Stephen Cluxton won't feature in the semi-final after Dublin boss Dessie Farrell confirmed that the decorated keeper has stepped away from the panel following his absence from the squad today.

Meath set up a date with their old rivals after they dished out a 4-22 to 0-12 hammering to Longford in Navan.

Westmeath will take momentum into their meeting with Kildare following a 3-20 to 1-10 demolition of Laois earlier today.

The Lilywhites, meanwhile, ran out five-point winners over Offaly as John Maughan's side exited the Championship.

Venues and times for the semi-finals are to be confirmed next week.
