Benetton scored a converted try with the last play of the game to earn a Guinness Pro14 draw with Leinster at the RDS.
It was the Italians who led for most of the game but a late brace from Bryan Byrne and Ciaran Frawley looked to have given the Conference B table toppers the points.
However, Iliesa Ratuva crossed deep into overtime and Tommaso Allan kicked the extras to give the visitors two points, which sees them move into third in the table.
Benetton were rewarded for their strong start when they scored the opening try after 13 minutes.
Following some excellent mauling off the back of a lineout. It was the hooker, Luca Bigi, who crashed over for the game’s opening score leaving captain, Tommaso Allan with the easiest of conversions.

It took to the 48th minute of the match but Leinster finally found themselves on level terms after James Lowe went over following some good forward play.
The second-half had turned into a ding-dong battle but Benetton stood strong and refused to wilt to the Leinster pressure as the game entered the final 20 minutes.
Leinster had to withstand a tense finale as Benetton searched for the draw that they fully deserved and they eventually got it through Ratuva who went emphatically over the try-line.
