Leila Negrau and Yaaster bring drumbeats and French psych-pop to Encore!

This week on Encore!'s music show we're joined by Reunion Island percussionist Leila Negrau, who is about to tour France with her latest album "Femme Avec Tambour". She tells us how it has been infused with traditional slave music and the challenges she faced making a type of music that was closed off to women. We also chat to up-and-coming French artist Yaaster, who has been dubbed the pirate of psychedelic pop. He's releasing his debut EP "Out Of My Zone" this week. Finally, we take a look at Alison Goldfrapp's first solo album, "The Love Invention".
