Tom Davies has received praise for his personality from Everton team-mate Leighton Baines.
The Blues left-back revealed the respect he has for the midfielder's personality, as well as praising the fact he is his own man at such a young age.
In a wide-ranging interview published in the St. Domingo magazine to help publicise Everton's new third kit, the former England international has also opened up on the changes in culture within clubs from when he first started playing for Wigan Athletic back in 2002.
"When it comes to young players, it's not something we really think about, the mentoring thing," Baines said.
"But Tom (Davies) is very cool; I love Tom and his personality. He's his own man.
"He's strong minded as well, much more comfortable within himself than I was at that age. I was still trying to figure out how I fitted and conforming to what I had to be like. I spent a lot of time like that.

"It took me until my mid-twenties to feel comfortable in my own skin, to stop trying to figure what everyone else wanted.
"Tom doesn't need me to progress. It's like all of the young lads coming through, you have to let it happen naturally.
"There will be times when you give young players a little boost whether it's on the training ground or on the pitch.
"It's a funny one, I came through with the opposite. It was a lot of tough love."
