Leigh Griffiths sets up Celtic dugout tearoom as he arms himself with unusual accessory

Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths wasn't taking any chances ahead of the Hoops' Europa League clash with Rennes.

On a chilly night in Glasgow's east end, the striker made sure he kept himself warm by arming himself with a kettle as he took his place on the bench. And team-mate Mikey Johnston became the tea boy shortly after.

The striker made his comeback against Livingston at the weekend and has previous for keeping himself nourished after he was famously captured enjoying a tea cake against St Mirren in 2015.

Griffiths received a glowing review from Celtic boss Neil Lennon during the week as he mounts his comeback from injury.

The 29-year-old has endured an injury-hit campaign following on from his time away from the game to deal with personal issues.

But Griffiths will certainly be well hydrated if and when his chance comes to make a Europa League impact against the French side on home turf.
