Leigh Griffiths or Steven Fletcher? This is the ultimate 21st century Hibs XI most fans chose

There are certainly no lack of options when it comes to choosing the ultimate Hibs side of the 21st century.

In fact, one could argue there's far too much to choose from with dilemmas all over the park.

Do you opt for Levis Stevenson or David Murphy at left back? Who gets the nod in midfield – Scott Brown? John McGinn? Kevin Thomson? All three?

Leigh Griffiths up top? Or do you choose Steven Fletcher, Anthony Stokes, Derek Riordan or Gary O'Connor?

As far as virtual dressing rooms go, this is a pretty good one.

So it's fair to say we were intrigued when we asked Hibs fans to choose their ideal team and formation from 28 of the finest players to have turned out for the club in the last 20 years.

And the results are now in.

So who did most fans go for?

Well, our widget tells us that most Hibs supporters opted for tradition when it comes to choosing a formation – going with a good old fashioned 4-4-2.

Ofir Marciano was chosen in goals, ahead of cult hero Conrad Logan and Nick Colgan.

In front of him is a back four of David Gray (of course), Franck Sauzee, Rob Jones and David Murphy. No place for Paul Hanlon or Lewis Stevenson, then.

In midfield Martin Boyle is out on the right with Kevin Thomson on the left side. In the middle is a formidable-looking partnership of John McGinn and Scott Brown.

Up front is a fearsome looking partnership of Leigh Griffiths and Derek Riordan.

Not bad at all.
