Rangers legend Barry Ferguson insists Leigh Griffiths will have the champions "worried" if he starts at Ibrox on Sunday.
Steven Gerrard's men host their great rivals in the final derby of the season with a final chance for the Hoops to burst their unbeaten record in the league.
The striker's ability is without question, as he proved coming off the bench to notch an equaliser against Aberdeen last week, but has lacked fitness in such a crucial season.
And Ferguson insists Griffiths can cause some damage if he's entrusted by John Kennedy to play from the start.
The Ibrox icon told Go Radio: "When he came on against Aberdeen, you just need to look at the movement.
"A lot of people go on about Elyounoussi's cross, but watch Leigh Griffiths' movement. He goes on the blind side of the centre-back and the full-back.
"When the ball comes across it's a cute header, it's well-placed.
"Look, you know what I think about Leigh Griffiths. I hope he doesn't play!
"Listen, see if that team sheet comes in with (Odsonne) Edouard and Leigh Griffiths on it...
"As a squad you're worried. You're worried.
" John Kennedy will be watching him closely this week in training.
"If he thinks he's ready it will be crossing his mind, 'I could be playing Leigh Griffiths'.
"He's dangerous, when he's not even playing well you know he's going to get into a situation in the 90 minutes to get one chance.
"And that's all Leigh Griffiths needs."
