Leigh-Anne Pinnock has revealed the she and Little Mix co-stars Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall use Disney names when checking into hotels to avoid being noticed.
The 30-year-old chart topping star revealed the amusing secret while being interviewed by Roman Kemp for Capital’s breakfast radio show.
Leigh-Anne was appearing on the radio show to promote her new film, Boxing Day – as she is stretching her wings to move from singing to acting.
Grilling the singer-turned-actress, 28-year-old Roman demanded to know if there was any similarities between Leigh-Anne and her character, named Georgia – who is seen checking into a hotel under the fake name Pocahontas.
Demanding to know if the Little Mix ladies performed similar stunts, Roman said: “I’m not letting you get away with it, give me one.”
Leigh-Anne then giggled: “It’s normally something really stupid, like a Disney name or something dumb!”
A string of celebs are known to use fake names when making bookings for hotels in order to secure themselves a little more privacy – although many use attention grabbing aliases.
Kim Kardashian is reported to use the name “Princess Jasmine”, Britney Spears is believed to use the name: “Alotta Warmheart”, and Justin Bieber reportedly uses the Friends character name: “Chandler Bing”.
Speaking about her turn as an actress, Leigh-Anne told Roman that she found herself getting nervous.
She told the host: “I remember my first day, I was shaking! So nervous, obviously I hadn’t acted before and it’s my first big opportunity and it’s a massive film, it’s just incredible.
“I loved every second and I would love to do a film a year maybe.”
Leigh-Anne’s move into the world of acting comes after weeks of speculation Little Mix are on the cusp of splitting up for good.
The band has been rocked for the past year after former member Jesy Nelson sensationally quit in order to pursue her own controversial solo career.
A source claimed last month: “There has been a lot of speculation about the future of Little Mix but it is now very clear that the end of the road has been reached.
“A date is set to announce the split. The upcoming tour is going to be a farewell to their fans.”
Meanwhile, tensions between 30-year-old Jesy and her former bandmates look destined to be stormy for the foreseeable future.
First there was a backlash over her debut solo music video – with accusations of black fishing and claims Leigh-Anne had asked an influencer to call her out on her allegedly exploitative video.
While things deteriorated further this week with Jesy making a clear breach of the girl code as she was papped snogging one of Leigh-Anne’s former love interests.
The Boyz singer has claimed she is reportedly 'mortified' to have been caught kissing hunky actor Lucien Laviscount and has insisted she is still single.
