Leicestershire County Cricket Club launches new business group – the Foxes 50

Leicestershire County Cricket Club is setting up a new venture for businesses who are passionate about supporting local sporting talent.

The new networking venture called Foxes 50 will launch at a dedicated event at the Fischer County Ground next week.

The networking club will offer a place where businesses can meet on a regular basis to build relationships, and find out more about the opportunities and facilities at the Grace Road club.

The commercial team want SMEs and businesses with a regional presence to join them at a launch event, at noon on Friday, January 31, 2020, to find out more.

Tracey Branson, the club’s commercial manager said: “Businesses from in and around Leicestershire are invited to join us at our launch event to learn more about the Foxes 50.

“Through this new club, we are offering much more than the traditional corporate sponsorship packages.

“We are creating a unique connected business and community hub for the people and businesses of Leicestershire, with cricket as the conduit.

“Organisations who join the Foxes will be part of the club which has a rich history having been established for over 140 years.

“Foxes 50 members have the opportunity to directly support some of the fantastic initiatives the club provides in the local community, including running cricket sessions in schools and community centres and the popular programme of female-only fitness classes.

“The work of our dedicated community teams is invaluable to inspire people across the county to enjoy cricket-led activities, regardless of age, gender or ability.

“Foxes 50 members can be part of the rich heritage of the club, whilst benefiting from our facilities and exclusive networking opportunities which take place throughout the year.

“We are very much looking forward to the 2020 season and we want local Leicestershire businesses to join us as a Foxes 50 member and become part of the fabric of the club.”

Lunch will be provided at the launch event. To confirm attendance e-mail: lizziesmith@leicestershireccc.co.uk
