Tottenham return to action for the first time since a Covid-19 outbreak at the club caused their matches against Rennes and Brighton to be postponed.
Antonio Conte’s side are likely to be depleted as players who tested positive try and get back up to full fitness, and it remains to be seen what kind of team Spurs are able to put out.
They face a Leicester side who have plenty of problems themselves. Brendan Rodgers has also had to contend with a number of positive cases in his squad, and both clubs looked to try and get tonight’s match postponed.
The Leicester boss was disappointed that the Premier League rejected those attempts.
“We have looked at [getting it postponed],” Rodgers said.
“But unfortunately for us we weren’t granted dispensation, which is disappointing because as a team and a club we have always wanted to support all the measures, but when we need a little support with the extreme situation we find ourselves in we weren’t able to get it.’
