Leicester vs Man City prediction: Riyad Mahrez to disappoint old friends

Leicester City will be looking for their first league double over Man City in over 30 years.

The Foxes are 11/2 with Betfred to pick up three points again this season against the league leaders after they picked up an impressive 5-2 win at the Etihad earlier this season.

However, City are the favourites at 4/7, in formidable form and have Pep Guardiola behind them.

No one has scored six league goals against any side managed under the Spaniard and have conceded only eight away goals in the league with only Tottenham Hotspur scoring more than one goal.

Tips

  • Riyad Mahrez to score first - 7/2
  • Man City to win - 4/7

Score prediction

Leicester City 1-2 Man City (7/1)

Who are you backing for first goalscorer?

Riyad Mahrez (7/2) has picked up nine goals and four assists this season in the Premier League.

He averages being involved in a goal a game in his last six Premier League matches including two goals in a 5-2 against Southampton - his last league appearance.

The Algerian was benched against Fulham before the international break and returns in goalscoring form. Unless Pep Guardiola has other plans, he could frustrate his former teammates.
