A mum-of-one who spent £93 and three hours travelling to meet her Tinder date was called fat as soon as she saw him.
Jade Savage, from Syston, travelled to Peterborough to meet her date, who she had seen about a month before.
The 28-year-old claims as soon as the man saw her, he said she had 'put some weight on' since their last date.
Jade explained the pair had met a few times before and she was chatting to him on the phone when she arrived, MirrorOnline reports.
The care support worker said: "That’s when he said, 'You have put some weight on haven’t you?’ I was like, ‘No, you can’t say that.’
"It was clear he wanted to call the whole thing off but I still hoped we could have a nice time so we went to his car.
"But he said, ‘I can say it, it’s a fact. You have put weight on, so therefore I can joke about it.’
"He drove me back to the station and told me I had put him in a bad mood and that I had to go home."
Size-14 Jade was already having a bad day as she missed her coach to Peterborough and had to get a train instead.
Then when she was dropped back at Peterborough train station she had to wait an hour before she could catch a train home.
In total, Jade spent £30 on taxis, £12 on a missed coach, £46 on the train and another £5 on wine to drown her sorrows.
She has now set up a 'joke' GoFundMe page to reclaim her financial loses.
On the page Jade claims that her date offered to give her the £90 travel money and then 'blocked' her when she said yes.
The mum posted on the page: "Just want to make my £90 travel money back so I can buy wine and sticks of lard."
With a target of £90, Jade has already smashed her target with the page already having £345 donated.
