Leicester men branded Britain's worst lovers - where does your home town rank?

Men in Leicester have been branded Britain’s worst lovers in a sex survey.

A mighty 97% of women said the East Midlanders were flops in bed.

Leicester is the home town of Match of the Day host Gary Lineker and actor Dominic Keating.

Liverpool men were next on the list of bad bedfellows, with 96% of women saying they were uninspiring.

Sheffield men were third worst, with a 95% disapproval rate.

But astonishingly, 90% of men across the country came in for flak because they lack confidence or sex appeal, according to the poll.

And in Edinburgh the criticism was all too much as a humiliating 92 per cent were also snubbed.

Men in sixth-placed Cardiff didn’t exactly prove to be Welsh dragons with 91 per cent of women complaining about their performance.

In fact, whether it was north, south, east or west it seemed our randy men didn’t know best.

In Belfast, 87 per cent of men were flops, in Glasgow it was 85, while London followed on 83.

Manchester did best – or least worst, you could say – with 80 per cent.

Dating site illicitencounters.com asked 1,500 women to rank the performance of former male partners by city.

They said good lovers have confidence which gives them sex appeal. But bad lovers flopped because they lacked self-belief.

Jessica Leoni, spokeswoman for the site, said: “Whether someone is going to be good in bed comes down to where they are from.”
