Leicester City will let Harry Maguire sign for Manchester United - but only if the Red Devils meet their £80million valuation.
Reports this weekend suggested Manchester United had agreed to pay £80million for the England international centre-back.
But sources from both clubs later denied this agreement had been made, with the Red Devils still reluctant to pay more than what Liverpool shelled out to sign £75million Virgil van Dijk.
Maguire has spoken to bosses at Leicester City, and informed them that he wants to leave the King Power this summer to complete a move to United.
The defender hasn't made a formal transfer request, but, according to The Telegraph, the club has agreed to let him go if their £80million valuation is met.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already made two signings at Man United this summer, landing Daniel James from Swansea City and Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace.
The Norwegian is keen to strengthen his back-four and Maguire has been a Red Devils target since long before Solskjaer was given the top job at United.
Sir Alex Ferguson originally spotted the centre-back's potential when he was at Sheffield United and instructed David Moyes to sign him in 2013.
The defender would have set United back just £4million at the time, but United cooled their interest in signing Maguire before he caught Jose Mourinho's eye in 2018.
The then Red Devils manager attempted to sign Maguire for Manchester United last summer but saw himself priced out of a deal.
Solskjaer is therefore the fourth Man United boss to have shown interest in Maguire.
