Leicester City vs West Ham LIVE: Premier League 2018-19 as it happened

Leicester City vs West Ham
Premier League 2018/19
Venue: King Power Stadium
Date: Saturday, October 27
Kick-off: 3pm BST

Wilfred Ndidi's late equaliser rescued a point for Leicester against a West Ham side who battled valiantly with 10 men following a red card for captain Mark Noble.

Fabian Balbuena's first West Ham goal looked like it might be enough for victory when he scored after half an hour. Eight minutes later Noble was sent off for a challenge on Ndidi.

Leicester laid siege to the West Ham goal thereafter and finally made the breakthrough after 89 minutes with Ndidi's deflected strike making it 1-1.

Ndidi's effort rescued Leicester from a third straight Premier League loss, a defeat which would have been scrutinised further following Claude Puel's decision to drop Jamie Vardy.

Team news

Jamie Vardy is a doubt for Leicester as he battles a stomach bug. The striker came off late in the 3-1 defeat at Arsenal without the Foxes being able to replace him and only returned to training on Thursday.

Skipper Wes Morgan remains banned and Matty James (Achilles) is out but Demarai Gray has returned to training with squad.

Provisional squad: Schmeichel, Ward, Jakupovic, Simpson, Chilwell, Evans, Pereira, Maguire, Soyuncu, Fuchs, Maddison, Albrighton, Amartey, Iborra, Gray, Silva, Mendy, Ndidi, Ghezzal, Vardy, Choudhury, Iheanacho, Diabate, Okazaki.

West Ham will be without winger Andriy Yarmolenko for at least five months following Achilles surgery. The Ukraine international, a summer signing from Borussia Dortmund, was forced off during the defeat to Tottenham and after an operation is set for an extended spell on the sidelines.

Midfielder Pedro Obiang (calf) should be back for next week's Carabao Cup tie while forward Andy Carroll (ankle) is also stepping up his recovery. Winston Reid, Carlos Sanchez and Manuel Lanzini (all knee) are still sidelined, along with Jack Wilshere (ankle).

Provisional squad: Fabianski, Cresswell, Balbuena, Zabaleta, Diop, Anderson, Snodgrass, Noble, Rice, Arnautovic, Antonio, Adrian, Ogbonna, Fredericks, Masuaku, Diangana, Hernandez, Perez.

TV, online and live stream coverage

The match will be televised live on BT Sport 1. BT Sport subscribers will be able to stream the match online via the video player and the BT Sport app.

Head to head

This will be the 23rd Premier League meeting between the teams. West Ham have won 11 of those, drawn four, and Leicester have won seven times.

The Foxes have only lost one of their last seven games against West Ham, but that came in May as the Hammers won 2-0 at the King Power.
