Leicester City 1-2 Everton - Premier League: As it happened

Everton clinched a vital victory at Leicester to move into eleventh position in the Premier League.

Richarlison gave the away side an early lead after just seven minutes with a superb piece of skill from his compatriot Bernard.

Ricardo Pereira equalised for Leicester from a corner on the stroke of half time before Wes Morgan was sent off in the second half after collecting two yellow cards in just twenty minutes.

And with just over ten minutes to play, Gylfi Sigurdsson netted a wondrous strike from 25 yards to secure Everton the victory.

What time does it start?

Leicester City vs Everton kicks off at 3:00pm (BST).

Where can I watch it?

The match will not be shown live on TV or online in the UK.

Independent Sport will keep you up to date with all the goals as they fly in via our live blog.

Highlights will be shown at 10:30pm on BBC One.

It’s a big game for…

Richarlison: The Brazilian, who signed from Watford for £40m in the summer, started the season in red-hot form before being sent off against Bournemouth in late August. The 21-year-old has struggled since then, and will want to forget about his substitute appearance in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday when he blazed over a penalty in the shoot-out. Countryman Bernard is also putting pressure on Richarlison’s place in the starting XI.

Weird /best stat…

3: So far this season, Everton have won three games, drawn three games and lost three games in all competitions.

Remember when…

It’s the 2015/2016 season, and Leicester City have won the Premier League… remember that? The trophy lifting and celebrations were preceded by a home match against Everton, in which the Foxes won 3-1 via a brace by Jamie Vardy and a rare goal for Andy King.

Player to watch…

Harry Maguire: The Leicester city centre-back has picked up where he left off this season after his impressive World Cup performances. After deciding to stay at the King Power as his club resisted hefty offers from Manchester United, the 25-year-old scored a last-minute winner at Southampton and looked assured and dominant at the back. He also scored last week against Newcastle United, and his battle with Cenk Tosun on Saturday will be fascinating.
