Leicester City star Wilfred Ndidi urged to join Arsenal despite Thomas Partey transfer links

Former Nigeria goalkeeper Joseph Dosu has encouraged Wilfred Ndidi to leave Leicester City for Arsenal.

The Foxes midfielder has played a starring role this season in helping them qualify for the Champions League.

Leicester sit third in the Premier League table prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, with a place amongst Europe's elite clubs well within their grasp.

Ndidi's performance have attracted reported interest from across Europe, with the Gunners and Manchester United linked, although he has spoken of his desire to remain with the Foxes and see out his contract, which will run out on 2024.

However, Dosu believes Ndidi should consider a switch to the Emirates to further his career.

He told Goal : "Ndidi is a workaholic player. He has been exceptional and has been playing very well since he signed for Leicester City."

"If he moves to Arsenal it will be good and I have no doubt he will do so well there.

"If they want him it will really be good for his career.

"Arsenal have a lot of fans here in Nigeria and Africa, so it will be a great move for him."
