Leicester City star flattered by Manchester United transfer talk

Youri Tielemans has opened up on the speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United this summer.

The Belgium midfielder spent the second half of last season on loan at Leicester City from Monaco, scoring four times in 13 matches during his time at the King Power Stadium.

But his impressive displays for Brendan Rodgers' side haven't gone unnoticed, with the 22-year-old being continually linked with a move in this summer's window.

Both Manchester United and Spurs are the leading contenders to land the midfielder, while the Foxes are also keen on securing the Monaco man's signature.

But Tielemans, who is currently preparing his side's European Qualifiers against Kazakhstan and Scotland, is hoping his future will be decided by the end of this month.

"We'll see which club it will be," Tielemans replied when asked about his next move.

"The only thing I can say is things are moving. A lot of clubs have shown interest. We will see in the next few weeks who it will be.

"Yes [I am flattered by Man Utd and Spurs interest], they are really big teams in England and in Europe.

"To hear those names gives me confidence. I just try to play my game on the pitch and try my best."

United are expected to be in the market for a host of players this summer, as boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to rebuild his squad following a dismal end to the season, which saw the Red Devils miss out on Champions League football.
