Leicester City's Jonny Evans delivers verdict on Bolton Wanderers' Liverpool loanee Conor Bradley

Jonny Evans felt Bolton Wanderers loanee Conor Bradley was 'superb' for Northern Ireland in the win over Kosovo and believes he is an example of younger players making an impression to help drive the nation forward.

Bradley is on loan at Wanderers from Premier League side Liverpool for the season. He has been one of the brightest sparks so far this campaign for Ian Evatt's side with three goals from wing-back.

The teenage sensation is currently away with his country on Nations League duty. He started weekend's game at Windsor Park vs Kosovo, alongside club team-mate Dion Charles.

Former Wanderers forward Josh Magennis' 93rd-minute header earned Northern Ireland a first-ever victory in the Nations League at the 15th attempt with a 2-1 victory. The winner arrived 10 minutes after substitute Gavin Whyte had cancelled out Vedat Muriqi’s 58th-minute goal which had stunned Windsor Park into silence.

Northern Ireland take on Greece this evening, where Evans is set to receive his 100th cap for his country. Now one of the veterans, he has hailed the impact of Bradley being exactly what the Green and White Army want to see.

Evans said: "It's brilliant that the young players have had the experience and game time during the summer and what they will have learned from that - some of them have shown real promise.

"I takes me back to coming into the squad myself and how the older players received me. I want to receive the younger players in the same way. We all do.

"I thought Conor Bradley was superb the other night and Shea Charles came in during the summer and that's what we want to see - young lads making an impression and hopefully bring the country forward."
