Leicester City player sends Manchester United warning before Premier League fixture

Leicester City star Marc Albrighton has sent a warning to Manchester United ahead of this weekend's Premier League clash at Old Trafford.

The game sees the Foxes, riding high in third place, take on an out-of-sorts United side. The Reds have dropped points in three of their four games this season, drawing at Wolves and Southampton, and losing their last home game against Crystal Palace.

And while Leicester haven't won at Old Trafford since January 1998, Premier League winner Albrighton says Brendan Rodgers' side are confident going into the meeting with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men.

"If you look at it at the minute, we’re in good form and we’re confident," he told Leicester's official website.

"I know a lot of people last season said before we went to Stamford Bridge that we hadn’t won there in so many years, but we went and got a victory.

"There’s no reason why we can’t do it. We’re going there full of confidence and we’re playing with freedom. We’ve got the ability, in my opinion.

"I feel like we can hold our own against them, and probably more than that, go on and beat them."

United will be vulnerable having only picked up five points from their four games this season, but they won their last meeting with Leicester 1-0 at the King Power Stadium.

All eyes will be on how both sides shape up after the international break.

On how the Foxes will set up, Albrighton added: "We treat every game differently. We set up differently against other teams, depending on how they look. I think it’s important to take blocks of games.

"If you take those blocks between the international breaks and look to get a certain amount of points between those breaks, then you’ve got something to work towards then.
