Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has pinpointed Newcastle United's solid defence ahead of Friday's clash.
United have conceded just 43 goals this campaign - the same as Manchester United -keeping nine clean sheets, giving them the sixth best defence in the league just behind Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea, Tottenham and Everton.
Rodgers, who was linked to the Newcastle job earlier this season, believes his Foxes' side will have to take their time against Benitez's men.
Speaking his pre-match press conference, Rodgers said: "Rafa [Benítez] is a top-class manager who organises his team very well.
"They don’t give away many goals, so we know we're going to have to be patient and show quality throughout the game.”
Rodgers’ side currently sit seventh in the premier league, and have been in brilliant form since the Welshman took over at The King Power just six weeks ago winning four of their last five games.
That form has given them a strong chance of qualifying for the Europa League, but Rodgers is adamant that the focus is on finishing the season strongly.
“It wasn’t something that we thought about coming in. The job is to get through to the end of the season, building a base for the summer.
“While they’re playing well you claim the points but others will still have an advantage with the games to play.
“We’ll be giving our best in every game, we want to entertain the supporters, they have to want to come to the stadium and be happy with what they’ve seen. We’re building towards that.“
The Foxes manager spoke about Leicester's recent injury woes, and the results don't make good reading for Newcastle fans.
“Harry (Maguire) is back in the squad which is great. Jonny (Evans) has recovered and he trained today. (Marc) Albrighton has been training since last week and he looks very good, so it’s good news.”
Leicester’s leading goal scorer Vardy - who has netted 15 times in 28 starts for The Foxes - was substituted at the end of Saturday’s 4-1 win over Huddersfield having felt a twinge in his groin, but he also looks set to return to action.
“He is absolutely fine. He felt a slight niggle towards the end of the game and rather than risk it, we just took him off.
“He has recovered well in the early stages this week and now he is back as sharp as he usually is. He is absolutely fine.”
The England striker has been in prolific form under Rodger’s management having scored five times in his last four appearances, suggesting Newcastle’s defence could be in for a tough evening in the Midlands.
