Legoland gives first look at brand new DUPLO rollercoaster and kids will love it

Ever since Legoland Windsor announced a new rollercoaster for 2020, families have eagerly awaited to get a sneak peek.

Now, the Windsor-based theme park has delivered, offering a first look with concept art for its brand new DUPLO rollercoaster.

The ride is sure to be a hit with little thrill-seekers ready to take on their first coaster as it's aimed for kids aged two to five years old - and it's sure to be fun for parents too.

For the first time, we've also been given a theme for the ride; dinosaurs!

Younger tots and their parents can step on board the dino-themed carriages and hold on tight as the ride takes them past supersized DUPLO dinosaur models, palm trees and plenty more surprises.

Legoland revealed that the new ride will be opening on Saturday 14th March in its DUPLO Valley, the latter of which has also had quite the makeover.

In fact, DUPLO Valley now boasts a new show and play area, complete with a rocket-themed play structure where budding astronauts can climb ropes, take on the slides or play with the interactive play panels.

Other highlights include three new painted helicopters at DUPLO Valley airport and a new puppet show telling the story of The Frog Prince.

There's more good news for parents too, as the theme park has unveiled a brand new 'Toddler Pass' deal for 2020.

The Toddler Pass starts from £49, and means a toddler and their grown-up can visit the theme park during term time (Monday-Friday), while parents can also benefit from the 10 per cent discounts in the shops and the 20 per cent discounts across restaurants, while the bigger kids are are at school.

It's also worth noting that children under 0.9 metres get FREE entry to Legoland Windsor Resort.
