Legoland Florida is introducing a new special event called Lego Movie Days, which will begin in mid-July at the Winter Haven theme park.
Activities for Lego Movie Days dovetail with the attraction's Lego Movie World, which debuted in March. The park says there are 15 interactive activities, food choices and builds during the event, which will be held on Saturdays and Sundays between July 13 and Aug. 4. It is included in regular park admission.
Visitors during Lego Movie Days will have photo ops with the new Rex Dangervest character (alter ego of Emmet). There are also scavenger hunts (Search for Hearts and Stars plus Find Emmet's Friends) inside Miniland USA and Lego Movie World.
The Glitter and Glow Dance Party is designed for kids and adults, and participants can also help build a giant Lego-brick mosaic.
Regular Lego Movie World attractions include Unikitty's Disco Drop ride and the Lego Movie Masters of Flight attraction, which features the "triple-decker flying couch," and the Battle of Bricksburg water ride.
