Events management company SMG Europe has agreed a deal to stage the latest Bricklive show of giant Lego creations at Aberdeen's new showpiece venue.
Bricklive Ocean will be the centrepiece of the event at P&J Live - due to open in August - from September 20-22. The organisers say their events involve 10 million Lego bricks.
The show, Bricklive's first in Aberdeen, will also feature interactive activities such as brick pits, race ramps and Lego masterclasses.
David Ciclitira, executive chairman of Live Company Group, said: "We are delighted to be bringing our BRICKLIVE Show to the newly built and state of the art complex, P&J Live in Aberdeen.
"The Group is continually working with new partners to bring Bricklive shows to venues across the UK and we are looking forward to working with SMG Europe on delivering a fantastic Bricklive Show".
P&J Live is a £333 million entertainment venue being delivered by Aberdeen City Council, replacing the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, with 48,000 sq m of new multi-purpose events space. Michael Buble is booked to play two nights there in November.
Bricklive Ocean is already due to show at Edinburgh Zoo from 6 July to 8 September.
