Lego piece falls out of boy’s nose after being stuck for two years

A piece of Lego has fallen out of a boy’s nose two years after it went missing.

Sameer Anwar, seven, of Dunedin, lost the piece of plastic up his nostril in 2018.

His GP, who was also unable to find it, advised that it would move through the boy’s digestive tract, and pass naturally.

His parents told the New Zealand Herald they were shocked when it came out after he blew his nose.

Sameer told Seven Sharp: "I was worried when it didn't come out. I was frightened and surprised because it was almost two years. I could feel it up there, it was itchy."

His father, Mudassir Anwar, said he believes the Lego piece was part of a character's arm.

He told the Guardian: “We never expected such thing.

“The Lego piece looks a bit gross but that’s how it is. Unbelievable”
