Lego Just Dropped Three New Star Wars Sets, Including a Buildable Chewbacca

With San Diego Comic-Con 2023 officially underway, it’s time to geek out from big brand reveals. Lego is one of those brands, having announced major set drops for the last several years. This year, the brick-building brand went all out and dropped three new Star Wars sets.

Lego and Star Wars go hand-in-hand. And now, you can finally live out of your dream of building Chewbacca out of brick with a new set designed for adults in addition to two sets themed after the forthcoming Disney+ Series, Ashoka.

All three are up for order at Amazon or Lego right now while countless other Lego Star Wars sets are seeing epic discounts.

The Arena Media Brands, LLC and respective content providers may receive compensation for some links to products and services on this website.

Chewbacca, $200 at Amazon or Lego

Lego Group

In the words of Han Solo, “Chewie, We’re Home.” This famous line finally comes to fruition as Lego now takes orders for a buildable Chewbacca. Standing over 18 inches tall and constructed from over 2,300 bricks, this might be the ultimate Wookie lover set that Lego has ever created. I saw it in person at San Diego Comic-Con; the details are immaculate. As any Lego display should, it comes with a stand that details some stats about everyone’s favorite Wookie, and you even get a Minifigure.

While it’s a bit early for holiday shopping, if you’re buying for a Star Wars fan, I’d suggest locking one of these early as they’ll likely be hard to get. You can preorder Chewbacca for $200 at Amazon or Lego.

Ahsoka Tano's T-6 Jedi Shuttle, $80 at Amazon or Lego

Lego Group

While Ashoka begins streaming on Aug. 23, Lego’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle will ship on Sep. 1 and is up for preorder now. It comes in at 601 pieces and includes four Minifigures: Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren, Professor Huyang, and Marrok. The T-6 Jedi is Ashoka Tano's ship, and the build is quite functional with foldable landing gear and rotating wings. As any good Lego starship should, the cockpit opens up so you can properly place Ashoka. Most importantly, though, Ashoka comes equipped with dual lightsabers.

You can preorder Ashoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle now for $80, and it will ship in early September.

New Republic E-Wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter, $110 at Amazon or Lego

Lego Group

You may recognize this New Republic Starship from The Mandalorian, but it will also appear in Ashoka. The New Republic E-Wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter set lands at 1,056 pieces, and, with accurate details across both ships, it is equally excellent for play or display. Both sets feature functioning cockpits and stud shooters on the wing, but like Ashoka’s shuttle, the New Republic E-Wing also features landing gear that can retract. You also get four Minifigures—Baylan Skoll, Shin Hati, Captain Porter, and Morgan Elsbeth—and an astromech droid.

The two-ship set is up for preorder now at $110 from Amazon or Lego.

We all love an interactive Lego set, and with this Dark Trooper Attack Set, you can relive the classic scene from the final episode of season two of The Mandalorian. I won’t write anything else, as spoilers aren’t cool.
