A nature reserve near Sunderland is out to make a big impact this Easter with some new arrivals which will be helping to make up a unique trail for visitors.
WWT Washington is to host a Giant Lego Brick Animal Trail again as a spring season treat and it will include new models never seen there before.
Visitors to the reserve from April 6 will get to see the likes of an "outstanding owl, kingsize kingfisher and enormous otter" sitting alongside some of their real-life cousins.
Some will be 12-times life-size and all are made in Lego bricks, with the sculptures making up a trail which families can follow around the reserve.
The trail will run for a month until May 6 and will be included in the admission price, which is free to members.

The Lego brick workshops, suitable for ages four-plus, will take place throughout the Easter holidays until Bank Holiday Monday, May 6, at a cost of £9.50.
Spaces are limited to just 16 per session so pre-booking is essential.
Each will last an hour, from 1pm-2pm, and will include three Lego brick-building challenges: a team race against the clock to build an animal and individual bids to create the best brick vehicle and then a mini-model of an owl to take home.
