Legendary local Dublin newsagent launches genius deli delivery service

A legendary newsagent in Dublin has launched their very own deli delivery service for starved locals.

The Kokonut newsagent on the Long Mile Road in Drimnagh has long maintained a strong reputation in the area for it's quality chicken fillet and sausage rolls, especially among the schoolgoing population of Dublin 12.

And the family-run shop - which has served the community since 1968 - has stepped up in the face of the latest COVID-19 lockdown, offering residents the chance to have their deli or bakery item of choice delivered right to their door.

The service also extends to groceries for people who do not want to leave the house during the latest COVID-19 surge, as well as stationary, greeting cards, bits for the house like disposable masks, and just about everything else the shop usually sells.

They even offer the option for knowledgeable locals to make requests, just in case they forgot anything on the menu.

All hot food should be delivered within the hour by the service, which starts running today.

The shop are urging people to get orders in early in the morning, expecting the service to be very popular among the Walkinstown, Drimnagh, and Crumlin population.

The full menu can be accessed here.
