Legendary Edinburgh café known for vegan cakes moves to new home in Stockbridge

A legendary Edinburgh café, renowned for its delicious vegan cakes, has moved to a new home in Stockbridge.

Grams, formerly located in Haymarket, started as a business selling cakes at local markets and the café that followed quickly grew to become a go-to spot.

Offering a selection of healthy hot and cold fast food, they cater to a range of dietary requirements, including vegans and customers who are gluten-free.

Bursting with goodness, Grams' cakes are made with 100% natural ingredients and they are proud to only use "whole ingredients" - like nut milks, nut creams, raw cacao powder, fruits, and coconut products.

After closing during lockdown, the café had been temporarily operating up in 17 St Stephen Street, a space that businesses can hire for pop-up residencies.

And now, they have revealed they are to make the move to Stockbridge permanent, opening the café in the site of a former cycling café and store, called Ronde.

A post shared on Grams Instagram read: "FINALLY! It’s been 1.5 years since we found this place and there’s still loads to do but we are in!

"This will be the new and improved location for Grams at 68 Hamilton Place in Stockbridge. It’s gonna be a stressful couple months with starting @heyplantbae too but, let’s do it!"
