A nightclub in Weston-super-Mare has announced it is closing this month.
Club Vision, on Richmond Street, shared the news on social media.
A post on the club’s Facebook page reads: “After 8 years in Weston Super-Mare, Club Vision will close our doors for the very last time on Saturday 22nd February.
“Thanks to every single one of you who have walked through our doors and partied with us over the years.
”Keep your eyes peeled for the start of a new era.”
More than 1,000 comments were written in response to the post, which generated almost 400 reactions.
Leon Sylvester wrote: “Thank you vision for the amazing memories.”
Meanwhile, Rose MK wrote: “Omg. I cannot believe it is actually closing. It's been a long time, Vision. Maybe one more dance for old times sake…”
And Dean Lewis’s comment reads: “End of an era some great nights in here a couple years ago. RIP vision.”
A Facebook event has been set up with details of the nightclub’s final party.
The event description reads: “As you all know the legendary Club Vision will be closing its doors on 22nd February!
“What better way to celebrate than to DRINK THE BAR DRY - We're not joking it all has to go!!
“Guestlist does not stand but the first 100 people too [sic] arrive will get FREE ENTRY!
“You will not need to buy tickets so the earlier you get there the faster you will get in!
“We know Club Vision has been around forever so bring your Mums, Dads, Grandmas, Grandad's - you know the score.”
The send-off is not a ticketed event and the first 100 people will receive free entry.
