Our annual look at the top law firms and barristers' sets in Birmingham and the West Midlands features in this week's Birmingham Post.
The Legal 500 West Midlands 2019 pullout lists the top individuals and practices working in a broad range of fields including corporate and commercial, crime, tax and finance.
The supplement is again supported by Birmingham Law Society whose president Linden Thomas writes the foreword.
She said: "The West Midlands region is a centre of legal excellence in the UK and, indeed, globally.
"According to an economic review prepared by the Chamber of Commerce in 2018, Birmingham is the only place in the UK outside of London where you can access the full range of business and professional services.
"There is a skew within the sector towards highly professional and technical roles which is indicative of the vast amount of expertise in the city, not least within the legal profession.
"In Birmingham alone, there are more than 900 companies providing legal services and employing more than 9,000 people.
"Practices choose to locate themselves here due to the benefits the city confers in terms of accessibility, proximity to clients in other sectors and access to a young and talented legal work force."
