'Left me angry' - Nottingham Forest fans react to Mark Warburton's remarks over City Ground sacking

Nottingham Forest fans have been reacting to comments made by former manager .

The Reds are gearing up to face Queens Park Rangers in the Sky Bet Championship on Wednesday night, with Warburton currently manager of the west London outfit.

Warburton was sacked by Forest in December 2017 after nine months in charge, and left Forest 14th in the Championship table.

The former Brentford boss was appointed QPR manager in May this year, and spoke about why his departure from the City Ground left him angry.

“I’ve never been so angry before as I was when I left Forest – you have to get over it very quickly,” said Warburton.

“You just have to say it’s their club.”

Now Reds fans have been reacting to their former boss’s comments, with the fanbase having mixed emotions over his exit.

Jake Richmond: “Could see those final two games that he’d lost the players and dressing room.”

Scott Rodgers: “Like Warburton, I've said it for a long while , all these managers we have had, the law of statistics say they couldn't of been all bad. Hopefully stability has arrived at the club now.”

WS Ong: “His Plan A left me angry.”

John Haddow: “Moving on up, Moving on up.”

ForestFan187: “Excuse excuse excuse. He wouldn't have been sacked if he knew how to teach a side to defend, it will likely end up the same at QPR.”

Expatred66: “Another one that I would have given more time to; for me there were green shoots and in fairness he took over a mess...who knows what would have happened...what I do know is that I'm very, very happy with Sabri and wouldn't swap.”

Surreyred: “I've nothing against Warbs, his tactics were very one dimensional and he never had a back up plan B in case plan A wasn't working but saying that, he's a nice enough guy, pretty much made Brentford into a respectable Championship club and we will win 2-0.”
