Heartbreak as a Leeds restaurant has been forced to close for the foreseeable future after a white BMW crashed into the business.
Zucco, an Italian restaurant, made the devastating announcement this morning (Tuesday) following the major crash in Meanwood Road.
They attached photos that show the car submerged into the front of the business and the aftermath of the crash with glass scattered all over the chairs and tables, at the front of the business.
In the post urging people to drive safely, they added luckily, no one was hurt.

The business had recently reopened after government guidelines permitted restaurants and hospitality businesses can resume indoor service.
But because of the crash, they will have to close again and say they have no idea when they will be able to do so.
A spokesperson for the business said: “It breaks our hearts seeing the restaurant like this after just being able to reopen but as you can see there’s been a big crash into the front of our restaurant, luckily no one was hurt but it looks like we are going to be closed for a while again...
“We promise we’ll be back as soon as possible but as this has never happened to us before we have no idea when #drivesafe”
Another post added: “To all our customers, a major car crash has happened on Meanwood Road and unfortunately a car has drove straight into the restaurant, we’re likely to be closed for the foreseeable future while we get this sorted. We’ll provide more information when we know more.”
