Leeds woman, 41, fighting for her life after being knocked over by double-decker bus

A 41-year-old woman has sustained life-threatening injuries after being hit by a bus in Leeds yesterday.

She is in a critical condition in hospital after being hit by a bus in Lower Wortley last night.

West Yorkshire Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the serious road traffic collision to come forward.

The collision happened at 11.22pm last night, November 16, on the A6110 Ring Road at Lower Wortley, just before the roundabout junction with Royds Lane.

A double-decker bus travelling towards Wortley away from the Gelderd Road junction hit the woman, who was a pedestrian.

The incident took place on the A6110 Ring Road at Lower Wortley, just before the roundabout junction with Royds Lane (YappApp)

She remains in hospital in critical condition.
