Leeds weather forecast for Wednesday as city welcomes more sunshine

Leeds is set to experience a warm and sunny day on Wednesday as the milder weather continues from the Easter weekend with some light winds making an appearance.

According to the latest forecast from the Met Office, Yorkshire on the whole will be "A partly cloudy start, with hill fog or haar soon clearing to leave a bright morning.

"Warm with prolonged sunshine during the afternoon. Light winds."

The temperature will also be markedly warmer than Wednesday with highs of 16 degrees in the afternoon 9 degrees throughout the night.

In Leeds specifically, the day will start with a cloudy and dry morning on Wednesday as the sun rises at 5:57am. This will then continue with sunny intervals throughout the morning, before becoming sunny from 11am.

Some cloud will set back in mid afternoon before disappearing to make way for a sunny evening until sunset at 8.15pm.

Temperatures between 8 degrees to 16 degrees from sunset to sunrise.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Turning cooler with strong easterly winds throughout.

Rather cloudy across coastal parts Thursday, brighter elsewhere, dry.

Cloudy with light rain and drizzle Friday.

Drier and perhaps brighter again Saturday.
