Leeds weather forecast for Tuesday as city welcomes showers again

Leeds is set to experience a mixed bag of weather on Tuesday, as the milder weather from the weekend makes way for a few more scattered showers throughout the county.

According to the latest forecast from the Met Office, Yorkshire on the whole will be "Fine and bright, with cloud bubbling up to give a cloudy afternoon.”

“Scattered showers” will then develop by the afternoon, with the driest areas being in the north of the county.

The temperature will also be markedly cooler than seen in recent days, particularly by the coast under onshore flow. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 14°C, with lows of 4°C overnight.

In Leeds specifically, the day will start with a bright and dry morning on Tuesday as the sun rises at 5:57am. This will then continue with sunny intervals throughout the morning, before becoming cloudier as the afternoon progresses.

There is a 50% chance of rain at around 3pm, but this will be short-lived, with the showers soon clearing again by 5pm. The sun will then set at around 8:14pm.
