Leeds weather forecast for Saturday as cloudy afternoon expected

After the three-day bout of high temperatures and sun, the weather will go back to normal in Leeds on Saturday.

There will be sunny skies for much of the morning to start the day, with sunshine and temperatures of 17C expected until midday.

At 12pm the cloudy weather will start in Leeds and temperatures will peak for the day at 18C. While it won't feel like much compared to the highs of 28C on Friday, it is certainly nothing to sniff at.

From midday onwards though there is cloudy skies expected throughout the afternoon and into the evening, with temperatures gradually dipping downwards towards 13C when the evening sets in.

There will be another brief bout of sun through the clouds at 9pm before night time.

The Met Office has predicted no rain in Leeds and high temperatures lasting until the early evening

In its summary of the weather in Yorkshire today, the Met Office says: "Much fresher than on Friday. Largely fine at first with some sunshine in the north. Turning cloudier in the south, with some rain perhaps spreading northwards later. Maximum temperature 19 °C.

"Any thicker cloud and patchy rain at first in the south soon clearing. Otherwise, dry with clear spells for most, patchy cloud at times across the Pennines. Minimum temperature 5 °C."
