Leeds weather forecast as snow predicted to fall across city this week

With December fast approaching, forecasters are predicting that it is more than likely to snow in Leeds this week.

Temperatures have plummeted in recent days and it appears as though the end of the national lockdown will coincide with icy chills gripping Leeds as the weekend approaches.

Weather experts are even suggesting that there is a 64 per cent chance of snowfall across the city on Friday.

Forecasters at netweather.tv have predicted that there will be a flurry of snow between 3pm and 6pm on Friday afternoon, when it will feel as though it is a brisk -4°C.

From 6pm until 9pm, there is a 54 per cent chance of further snowfall too.

However, we might not even have to wait until Friday before we're coated with a light dusting of the white stuff.

Forecasters have predicted that there is a slim chance of snowfall as early as Thursday, with a 24 per cent chance of the wintry weather hitting Leeds between midday and 9pm.

By the weekend, any risk of snowfall will have likely disappeared, but the icy temperatures are likely to stick around for a while yet, with lows of 4°C on Saturday and 2°C on Sunday.
