Friday, June 17, is expected to be quite a bit warmer in Leeds, with a high of around 25C, and with plenty of sunshine during the day.

The Met Office says that the extent of the 'warming trend' for next week isn't yet known.

Speaking about next week, the Met Office said: "An unsettled start to next week with some cool nights looks most likely, but there are some signals of a warming trend for the UK later in the week, although the extent and likelihood of this is still being determined."

The outlook for Yorkshire, in general, is for it to be 'mostly dry' on Monday and Tuesday, with broken cloud and some sunny spells.

Wednesday is likely to be cloudier but dry, with lighter winds throughout. The daytime temperatures will be near average.
