The newly promoted outfit have impressed onlookers for the most part this season, but their wins have come in inconsistent fashion and they are 14th in the table after just one victory in the last five. Despite that, the players feel they have stepped up well from the Championship and they are certainly faring better than West Brom and Fulham, who came up alongside them.
West Ham are in the top half having recently put together a three-match win streak, but defeat to Manchester United last time out served as a reminder that they cannot take their foot off the pedal if they aim to remain eighth or higher as the season goes on.
