Leeds vs Leicester LIVE! Championship result, match stream and latest updates today

Leeds recorded a huge win over Leicester to move within six points of the Championship leaders.

The Whites fell behind within 15 minutes after defender Wout Faes had nodded the Foxes in front as Daniel Farke’s squandered a number of good opportunities in the first-half.

It had proven to be a trying night for the Leeds forward line and that pattern continued for Leicester after the break. The league leaders were as wasteful as their hosts in the opening 45 minutes, though were perhaps unlucky to have seen Patson Daka’s goal ruled out due to an offside.

Leeds, however, put on a late show to come from behind. Connor Roberts struck in a rebound to give them hope before Archie Gray saw his shot deflected off two Leicester players – including goalscorer Faes – to turn the tide. By the time Daniel James fired in a stoppage-time free-kick, Elland Road was bouncing.

The pressure is now on third-placed Ipswich and fourth-placed Southampton, who both play on Saturday.
