Usually at about this time of year Leeds United will release their shortlist of nominations for their Player of the Season award.
Alas, this is not a usual season and with the campaign having been stuck in limbo over the past five-and-a-half weeks owing to the coronavirus pandemic, the club have had to put the brakes on their end-of-season celebrations.
But with 37 matches in the books, we have a good idea of how the nominations should look, with a host of players putting in superb performances so far.
Stuart Dallas' emergence as perhaps the division's best utility player has seen him become one of the favourites for the gong, while Ben White's performances on loan from Brighton have been superb from the first day of the season.
Jack Harrison is another loan player that has been a real difference maker, while Mateusz Klich has continued to put in consistent displays week-in, week-out.
Luke Ayling's recent eye for goal has seen him join the conversation, while Kalvin Phillips has done Kalvin Phillips things all season and would be another worthy winner.
