Leeds United vs West Brom and the Championship title race predicted

There are plenty of talking points when the Championship returns on June 20.

With promotion and relegation still at stake, clubs across the division will be putting in the hard yards in training ahead of a resumption.

Yet how will an unprecedented three-month break impact clubs? There are likely to be clubs out of form that suddenly start picking up wins, whilst those on a good run prior to the shutdown may find themselves struggling to recapture their previous performances.

For Leeds United, there is the small question of whether they will be able to beat West Brom to the title.

Football Web Pages have now used a computer to predict every single remaining Championship fixture to see how clubs will react to the long break from competitive action.

How it works

The computer works out a percentage likelihood of differing results in matches, with home wins, draws and away victories all being given different probabilities.

That is calculated from different teams' form across the season, along with their position in the table and the amount of goals they are scoring and conceding.

These percentages are then used to calculate a result in matches.
